JaxParks is excited about the summer as we kick off Rec N' Roll 2022, June 6th!

Reservations will open on Monday, May 16th at 10 am.

Here is an update to the Rail Trail construction project. Signage has been relocated to the next section of the trail, Otis road to the JEA Access Road. Once the Hannah Road to Halsema Road section is complete, that section will be opened and the Otis Road to JEA Access Road section will be closed in conjunction with the currently closed section between Halsema Road and Otis Road, per Nathan Pearson, Assistant Project Administrator, VIA Consulting Services, Inc.
 

JaxParks Aquatics is gearing up for this year's swim season and are looking to hire lifeguards! Never been a lifeguard or need to be recertified as a lifeguard, no problem, get the training you need with us.  All you have to do is complete these three prerequisites skills: 

• 300 yard swim
• 2 minutes of treading water without using hands
• Retrieve a 10 pound brick from the bottom of the diving well.

Sections at a time of the rail trail will be repaired beginning, Saturday, January 22nd.

The City of Jacksonville's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCS) along with its partner Indigo Golf Partners is celebrating the grand reopening of the golf course!

Next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday no access to this boat ramp.

This year, JaxParks is offering their Holiday Blast Camp virtually!

JaxParks unveiled 7 Creeks Recreation Area on Friday, November 20th. The area is named for the 7 Creeks that surround it; Bogey Creek, Clapboard Creek, Cedar Point Creek, Edwards Creek, Fitzpatrick Creek, Horseshoe Creek and Pumpkin Hill Creek. Lots of points of entry and there is so much to see and experience with nature!
