There has been an update to the construction project scheduled for the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail. Dr. Jenny Hinton, Preserve and Waterfront Manager with the Natural and Marine Resources Division announced the project is set to begin as early as next weekend, January 22nd with a completion date this spring. The project includes repaving the path and repairing shoulders a section at a time which will require temporary closures of specific areas.  Information on closure areas and timeframes will be posted at the trailheads.
