The Ribault Club was established in 1928 as a wintertime recreational resort. The club has been the site of many memorable parties and events over the years, hosting foreign dignitaries, captains of industry and society mavens. Having undergone a four-year historic restoration, the waterfront club is now available to host events from 25 to 400 attendees. The Ribault Club became part of Fort George Island Cultural State Park in 1989 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The exhibits at the Ribault Club cover the natural and cultural history of the island, from the time before humans inhabited this area to the present in an interactive format.
