Bethesda Center and Park

Bethesda Park is a year-round recreation facility that has the unique feature of being a completely accessible and barrier-free recreation complex. It provides easy access to the outdoors for the physically disabled. The specially designed park offers a wide range of facilities that cater to the needs of both individuals with disabilities and to the general public. Park amenities include a 20-acre stocked fishing lake, boardwalks, cabins, a lodge, adaptive kayak launch, and picnic facilities.

Community Center/Lodge

The capacity for the community center is 200. The amenities includes a large multi-purpose lodge, full kitchen, and restrooms. Tables and chairs are available as well.
 

Cabins

The spacious cabins have a full bathroom with a shower, kitchen, counter style table, bunk beds for 4, and a shared enclosed lanai.

Boardwalk

The boardwalk is nestled along the 20-acre lake with picnic tables, pavilion and trash receptacles along the way. In Fall 2024, the boardwalk received improvements.

Adaptive Kayak Launch

In March 2020, an adaptive kayak launch project was complete. This location is a great site for beginner paddlers. There is accessible parking and route. The adaptive launch features grab bars, transition seat, and cradle system.
