Elder Care
As we grow older many things we were able to do in the past become harder to do and take care of. As a community it is our job that we do not forget about those who need our help as they grow older. We need to make sure no matter how old you are that you have the same access to help and care as others.

Poverty

In Jacksonville, about 12.50% of elderly people were living in poverty in 2022, compared to the Florida poverty rates of 11.0% that same year. As we grow older, we should not have to worry about whether or not we will have a safe place to live. With this increase in poverty levels we need to make sure we are prepared to help those in need so they don't have to live in fear of not being able to have basic necessities.
