The City of Jacksonville’s Human Rights Commission (JHRC) is presenting a series of events in commemoration of the 50
th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. These special events are an excellent opportunity for the citizens of Jacksonville to celebrate the benefits and accomplishments that followed the signing of this historic Act. It also represents an opportunity for us to acknowledge and re-affirm our commitment to ensure that we continue to live in a society that protects our civil rights.
