Age-Friendly Jacksonville
THE AGE-FRIENDLY JACKSONVILLE INITIATIVE IS LAUNCHING SOON!
Until then..
.
Join Us for the Launch of Age-Friendly Jacksonville (AFJ) Community Listening Session Meetings
The Council on Elder Affairs is excited to invite you to the launch of our series of Age-Friendly Jacksonville (AFJ) Community Listening Session Meetings. These sessions will effectively replace our General Council Meetings over the next couple of months.
The purpose of these meetings is multi-faceted:
Collect information from a diverse cross-section of the community to inform the planning and development of the Age-Friendly Jacksonville Initiative (AFJ).
Explore local aging issues and gain insights into the community's perspectives and desires for improving livability.
Gather feedback from traditionally hard-to-reach populations.
Provide an opportunity for older adults to connect with their Council Members, as well as receive information related to older adults in their respective districts.
Foster networking among COEA members and community outreach.
