My name is Nicole Landa and I was born in Gainesville, Florida, and my family is from Honduras. I studied at the University of North Florida and received a master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. I have been lucky to be a part of the Mayo Clinic team for 1 year in my role as a Community Engagement Coordinator. As a Community Engagement Coordinator, I work closely with community partners to understand the needs of our 9 counties we serve and connect available resources with our catchment areas. I have a passion for working in public health and aim to make a positive change in the community. Before joining the Mayo Clinic team, I gained experience as a clinical research coordinator in Neuroendovascular Surgery and a project manager for a health disparities program.
