Mayor makes 2 appointments. Legislation designates 5 members, two of which are ex-officio (non-voting).

Committee Duties: Committee shall study the Better Jax Plan Projects with the goal of advising how to construct and complete such projects in the most efficient manner possible and to oversee execution of work of all such projects as each such project is ready to be designed, right-of-way acquired, permitted and constructed. Committee shall prepare and present a report to the City Council, Mayor and JTA  on the implementation, progress, status and completion of all Plan Projects, on the degree of cooperation of the parties hereto, and on areas of concern for the timely and proper completion of Plan Projects. Such reports shall be given on an annual basis, within 90 days after the end of each fiscal year.

Meeting Date: Meeting Dates: Meetings are typically held beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the 4th Friday of January, April, July and October. Meetings are open to the public.  Schedule changes will be announced in accordance with Florida's Sunshine Law.
