City Unveils 2024 "Stay Cool Jax" Plan, Cooling Centers Activated on June 26

Earlier this week, the City of Jacksonville unveiled its 2024 Cooling Center Contingency Plan, called “Stay Cool Jax”. It is a critical component of the City of Jacksonville’s proactive efforts to safeguard public health during periods of extreme heat.
 

Volunteers Needed for July 5th Beach Cleanup After Independence Day Celebrations

The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will partner with the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol for the annual July 5th Beaches Cleanup following the Independence Day holiday. Last year, 158 volunteers invested 316 hours of their time to collect 229 bags, or 4,580 pounds of debris.

New Film & Television Programs to Attract Production Business to Jacksonville

City of Jacksonville Reopens Home Roof Rehabilitation Program

The City of Jacksonville Neighborhoods Department, Housing and Community Development Division, is proud to reopen its Home Roof Rehabilitation Program. The initiative is funded with $955,000 from the City of Jacksonville General Fund as part of the task force programs recommended by Mayor Donna Deegan’s transition committees and passed by the City Council in December.

Statement on UNF Poll
