Budget dashboard with charts and pie graphs

MAYOR DEEGAN ANNOUCES GROUNDBREAKING NEW BUDGET DASHBOARD IN ADVANCE OF FIRST TOWN HALL

January 27, 2025
Today, the City of Jacksonville launched a Budget Transparency Dashboard. This groundbreaking initiative is aimed at fostering greater transparency, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making in the city’s budget preparation process.
The FY24-25 Budget Transparency Dashboard is designed to revolutionize how residents engage with and understand the city’s budgeting process. By providing easy-to-access data on budget allocations and spending trends, this interactive platform empowers citizens to stay informed and actively participate in decisions that impact their community.

“This dashboard is more than a tool—it’s a commitment to letting the light in,” said Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan. “We believe that when residents have access to clear and timely information, trust grows, collaboration strengthens, and accountability thrives.”

At the heart of this initiatives lies a deep commitment to citizen engagement. Through town halls, community workshops and more, residents will have unprecedented opportunities to weigh in on budget priorities and offer insights on how the city can better serve their needs.
