Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Council will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., in the Council Chambers, 1^st Floor, City Hall, St. James Building, located at 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida.  The Honorable Alvin Brown, Mayor – City of Jacksonville will present the 2013-2014 Annual Budget address to the Jacksonville City Council at this time. 

Notice is hereby given that the TRUE Commission will hold its monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in City Council Chamber, 1^st Floor, City Hall at St. James located at 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville FL. 

Notice is hereby given that the TRUE Commission’s Performance Committee will hold its monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in City Council Conference Room B, Suite 425, City Hall at St. James located at 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville FL. 

A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting the Northeast Florida Regional Council, 6850 Belfort Oaks Place, Jacksonville, Florida, 32216. Notice is also given that two or more members of the Boards of County Commissioners, City/Town Councils/Commissions and other entities covered under Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, may attend and speak at the meeting.

City Council Offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member John Crescimbeni, Chair of the St. Johns River Ferry Commission, will meet with the Members of the St. Johns River Ferry Commission. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., in the Lynwood Roberts Room,  1st Floor – City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida, 32202.

In accordance with Ordinance 2005-361-E, the 1st Committee week and City Council meeting of the month of July are suspended for a summer break.  The regularly scheduled Council meeting cycle will resume with Standing Committee meetings on Monday, July 15, 2013.

Notice is hereby given that the Jacksonville City Council will meet on Friday, June 28, 2013, 4:00 p.m.,  Council Chamber- 117 West Duval Street,  1^st Floor City Hall St. James Building, Jacksonville, Florida.  The ceremony is held to install the Honorable William I. Gulliford, Jr., as the 2013-2014 Council President, and the Honorable Clay Yarborough, as the 2013-2014 Council Vice President.  In accordance with Council Rules the positions will become effective July 1, 2013. (Invited attendees will include the Jacksonville City Council Members, Constitutional officers, Judges, Duval Delegation, and Congressional Representatives, appointed Board and Commission members of the City of Jacksonville as well as the public at large.)  Invitations are not required to attend this event.
