City Council Director/Council Secretary Cheryl L. Brown announced today that the next meeting of three Jacksonville City Council committees have been changed. The next meeting of the Recreation & Community Development CommFittee has been changed from Wednesday to Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at 12:30 p.m., with no agenda meeting to be held. The next Rules Committee meeting has been changed from Wednesday to Monday, September 30, 2002 at 4:00 p.m., with the agenda meeting to be held at 3:30 p.m., in Conference Room B, on the same date. Lastly, the next meeting of the Transportation, Environment & Energy Committee has been changed from Wednesday to Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at 10:30 a.m., with the agenda meeting to be held at 9:30 a.m., in Conference Room A, on the same date. The meeting locations remain unchanged, with all committee meetings held as usual in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 117 West Duval Street.

The committees were rescheduled in order to accommodate the travel schedules of those Council Members participating in the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Trip. This change is a one-time only event and all committees will return to their normally scheduled date for the next meeting cycle.
