The Task Force has announced the dates and locations of five public meetings around Jacksonville where they will hear comments from the public. All meetings are open to the public and all are invited to attend. Council Member Boyer believes “the Task Force must have input from to public, otherwise the Task Force has missed an opportunity to hear how local government affects the daily lives of its residents.”

Additionally, the Task Force announces the publication of a Public Input Survey designed to capture public input related to the charge of the Task Force. Members of the public are asked to provide feedback through the survey on the effects of consolidation of the City of Jacksonville and Duval county, as well as, how well city services have been provided, among other things.
