Notice is hereby given that Council Member Bill Bishop, Chair, Jacksonville Waterways Commission, will meet with Waterways Commissioner Steve Nichols and representatives of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission; the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service; Jacksonville Port Authority; Sheriff`s Office and other interested parties on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., in Conference Room A, City Council Offices, 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, City Hall at St. James Bldg., to discuss manatee fatalities in Duval County and recommendations for revising the Manatee Protection Plan, to improve survival of the manatees in the City`s waterways. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
