Council Members Kevin Hyde and Reginald Brown and others will attend a continuing education initiative hosted by the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund and the University of North Florida Department of Political Science and Public Administration called the Foundations of Local Government for the purpose of gaining information and exchanging ideas about challenges currently facing Jacksonville’s municipal government. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 and at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Board Room of the University Center building, University of North Florida, 12000 Alumni Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224. All interested persons are invited to attend.
