Notice is hereby given that Council Member Matt Carlucci (At-Large, Group 4) and Council Member Joyce Morgan (District 1) will co-host a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 7:00 pm in Chapel Hall at Arlington Baptist Church located at 6009 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32211, to discuss solid waste services.
Since the suspension of curbside recycling services beginning October 4, 2021, a satisfactory result has not yet been achieved in the collection of yard waste or recyclables. Because our city deserves better, additional conversation concerning the state of Jacksonville’s solid waste services are necessary to move toward solutions. The goal of this open-to-the-public meeting is to share information, receive feedback, set expectations, and discuss the restoration of recycling. Council members, representatives of our contracted haulers, and members of the Administration are invited to attend. The meeting will include a time for public comment.
Due to COVID-19, masks are recommended, and social distancing will be in place.
