Notice is hereby given that Council Member Brenda Priestly Jackson will meet with Council Member Joyce Morgan, Rules Committee Chair, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Conference Room A located at 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, City Hall St. James Building. The meeting is to discuss a floor amendment to have ORD 2019-566 assigned to the Rules Committee. ORD 2019-566 seeks to provide employees a buy up provision whereby JEA will purchase service credits (years of service for retirement purposes) for employees, which shall only be effective in the event of a Recapitalization Event.
