Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and at the request cancellation of the scheduled public meeting of the Office of General Counsel, which is defending the below cases, I am setting a litigation shade meeting of the Council to consider settlement negotiations and strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures as to the following case:
- JPRA v. City of Jacksonville, Case No. 3:05-cv-1267-J-34-JRK, (M.D. Fla.)
The meeting scheduled has been cancelled which was to be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Offices, Suite 425, Conference Room A, Fourth Floor, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. The meeting was expected to last 60 minutes.
Following the commencement of an open meeting, the governing body would have moved into a closed attorney-client session pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and only the following listed persons would have been entitled to attend this session:

Following the conclusion of the closed attorney-client sessions, the Council would have returned to the open public meeting at which time public business, if any, would have been concluded and the meeting adjourned.
