Notice is hereby given that Council Member LeAnna Gutierrez Cumber with Council Member Matt Carlucci and Council Member Randy DeFoor will be hosting a press conference on Thursday, January 19th at 10:00am at CSX 500 Water Street (outside the building by the cul-de-sac) to discuss CM Cumber’s filed legislation to prevent antisemitic symbols and statements from being projected on public and private property in Jacksonville. This has been filed as emergency legislation. These projected messages are preventing Jacksonville from being its very best and do not reflect the values the people of this great city hold.
Council Member Cumber, Council Member Carlucci and Council Member DeFoor will be joined by members of Jacksonville’s faith-based community as well as representatives from CSX.
