LITIGATION SHADE MEETING NOTICE | Regarding Redistricting

Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and as requested by the Office of General Counsel and announced at a Special Meeting of the City Council, I am setting a litigation shade meeting of the Council to consider settlement negotiations and strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures as to the following case:
- Jacksonville Branch of the NAACP, et. al, v. City of Jacksonville, et. al., Case No. 3:22-cv-493-MMH-LLL, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida
The shade meeting will be conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2022, immediately following the Special Meeting of the City Council at 3:00 p.m., in the Council Offices, Suite 425, Conference Room A, Fourth Floor, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. The shade meeting will conclude no later than 5:00 p.m.
Following the commencement of an open meeting, the governing body will move into a closed attorney-client session pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and only the following listed persons will be entitled to attend this session:
