Notice is hereby given that LUZ Committee Chair Danny Becton will hold a workshop to gather input from LUZ Committee members, the public, Council Members, and City staff on potential topics for discussion during the Land Use and Zoning Committee’s Special Committee meetings for 2017 on Wednesday, November 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Conference Room A located at 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, City Hall St. James Building. All Council members are invited to attend.
The focus will be on rezoning and land use changes, and will be limited to Chapters 656 and 650 of the Ordinance Code, as well as the Comprehensive Plan itself. Starting in January 2017, the LUZ Special Committee will review and debate the topics chosen, with an eye to proposing meaningful improvements and policy changes regarding both substantive and procedural issues.
