City Council Workshop | Regarding Update on Parks MRIP Planning Process

Notice is hereby given that the City Council will meet for a Workshop on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 1st Floor, City Hall, St. James Building, located at 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida.

The purpose of this meeting is for the Jacksonville Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department to provide an update on the Parks Master Recreation Improvement Plan (MRIP) planning process to date. The Parks Department’s consulting team lead by GAI Consultants and including ADG and RRC Associates will give a presentation with a focus on the results of the statistically valid survey, including survey methodology and how the results will be used to inform the Jacksonville Parks Master Recreation Plan. The Department welcomes discussion with Council as part of the presentation. The project was funded as part of the Special Committee on Parks.
