Notice is hereby given that Honorable Scott A. Wilson, President of the Jacksonville City Council, hereby authorizes the call of an IN PERSON MEETING of the LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE, a Standing Committee of the Jacksonville City Council – at the request of the Honorable Danny Becton, Chairman - LUZ Committee. The Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 5:00 P.M. and will be held in Council Chambers only.
This meeting notice supersedes any previous meeting notices, announcements or cancellations.
EXCEPT FOR THE LUZ COMMITTEE MEETING AS STATED IN THIS NOTICE, ALL OTHER CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETINGS FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 15

COVID-19 PROCEDURES
The City of Jacksonville is complying with CDC guidelines for its public buildings. City Council Chambers will be limited to 50% capacity and all seats will be marked to ensure safe spacing between individuals. Overflow seating will be available in other rooms at City Hall and citizens may be asked to rotate into and out of City Council Chambers to speak at a public hearing. All visitors to City Hall are required to wear a mask inside the building; masks will be provided for anyone who does not have a mask, and pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, reasonable accommodations may be available for individuals who are unable to wear a mask, as determined on a case by case basis.
Additionally, upon entry to City Hall, all visitors must submit to the following screening procedures:
• answer questions on the Screening Form provided at the screening desk
• have their temperature taken with a contactless infrared thermometer
