Notice is hereby given that the Jacksonville Charter Revision Commission will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Council Chamber, 1st floor, City Hall, 117 W. Duval Street. The Commission will discuss issues related to the JEA’s annual financial contribution to the City budget and the Mayor’s proposal that the City Charter be amended to prohibit the adoption of enhanced pension benefits if the plan proposed to be amended is not funded at 110% or more of full actuarial funding. Jim Dickenson, Managing Director/CEO of the JEA will address the JEA contribution issue, and representatives of the Police and Fire Pension Fund and the City administration will be addressing the pension enhancement proposal. Other speakers have been invited but attendance has not yet been confirmed. All interested parties are invited to attend.
