Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton and City Council member Dr. Johnny Gaffney will join representatives of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Fresh Ministries, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and residents of East Jacksonville and Springfield to celebrate the Weed and Seed program. Funded by a grant program with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Weed and Seed program aims to restore neighborhoods to their full potential by reducing crime. Location AMENDED to A.
