AMENDED Topic: Due to the unavailability of Orange County, FL Sheriff Jerry Demings the Commission will NOT discuss issues related to an elected versus appointed Sheriff. The Commission will discuss issues related to an elected vs. an appointed School Board, and will consider the concept of staggered terms for City Council members. Confirmed speakers are Duval County Schools Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals, Duval County School Board Chair Brenda Priestly-Jackson, and Charter Revision Commissioner Jim Catlett. Other speakers may be invited at the discretion of the Chair. All interested parties are invited to attend.
