The Jacksonville Jazz Festival returns to Downtown Jacksonville, May 23 – 26, 2024. This year's festival has returned to our beloved Metropolitan Park, where memories have been made and music has filled the air for generations. Additionally, we are excited to introduce our new venue at Daily’s Place, which promises to add an extra layer of excitement and energy to our festivities. Chief negotiator Mike Weinstein issued the following statement in response to inaccuracies about the city’s portion of stadium agreement funding.

Mayor Donna Deegan, lead negotiator Mike Weinstein, and Jaguars President Mark Lamping jointly presented a landmark stadium renovation agreement at the Jacksonville City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 14.

The festival will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in an effort to educate the community about the historical significance of Florida’s observed Emancipation Day.  Cities like Jacksonville in the State of Florida are acknowledging this special day of freedom.
