Jacksonville University Dolphins to Face University of Florida Gators at 121 Financial Ballpark on November 1
The City of Jacksonville, Office of Sports & Entertainment, is excited to announce the continuation of a storied tradition: the annual exhibition baseball game, set to take place on Friday, November 1, at 121 Financial Ballpark. This year’s matchup will feature a thrilling contest between the Jacksonville University Dolphins and the University of Florida Gators, coinciding with the excitement of the Georgia-Florida football weekend.
Jacksonville University Dolphin’s Head Baseball Coach, Chris Hayes, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We thank the city of Jacksonville and the University of Florida for the opportunity to showcase college baseball and highlight two very talented baseball programs. Our players look forward to competing against a tough opponent in front of a great crowd. This is a tremendous event for Jacksonville University and our student-athletes to be a part of.”
Florida Gators Head Baseball Coach Kevin O’Sullivan also shared his excitement: “The annual October baseball tradition in Jacksonville provides a unique and exciting experience for our players, coaches, and fans, and we are thrilled to continue the matchup. Tickets for the exhibition game will be available for purchase
