Feature Parks Facilities

Bethesda Park

This fully ADA accessible facility offers a lodge, 16-acre stocked lake, 14,000 feet of nature trail boardwalks and four cabins available for rental.

Springfield Park, Playground and Dog Park

This grouping of parks in Jacksonville's Historic Springfield area includes a serene fountain setting, statues, a fenced 2.87-acre dog park and a playground area with unique, whimsical equipment that spurs the imagination.

Cuba Hunter Skate Park
3620 Bedford Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207 (904) 255-6690

Along with a gym and community center, this park also includes a nature trail and 10-square-foot skateboard facility with 6-foot half pipe, 7-foot quarter pipe, jump boxes, multiple rails, a bank ramp with a pyramid and a playground area with unique, climbing, swinging and musical playscapes.

Friendship Fountain

This downtown, riverfront destination includes open green space, seating and the iconic, colorful, musical Friendship Fountain.

Lannie Road Park
3461 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218

This site is home to Gateway Radio Control Club, an association of radio control model airplane experts. The park includes picnic tables with work benches, taxi-ways, a runway and club house. Insurance coverage is required to fly a model plan at the facility. Also includes, playground equipment and athletic fields.

Lew Brantley Park

This 90-acre park includes a community center, basketball courts,picnic areas, nature trail with fitness stations and the "Field of Dreams" Miracle League field, where special needs youth can experience playing baseball in their own league.

Ray Green Park

Home to JAX BMX, this park's specialty track is open seven days a week, through the BMX club. Other features of the park include athletic fields, tennis courts and picnic facilities.

Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park
7000 Roosevelt Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32244 (904) 255-6877

This 500-acre facility offers a nature center, playground area, and amazing trails for hiking, biking and enjoying nature. One special feature, a 35-foot elevated observation tower that provides the perfect birds-eye view.

Walter Jones Historical Park
11964 Mandarin Road,Jacksonville, FL 32223 (904) 268-0784

This history-inspired park offers beautiful vistas of the St. Johns River,centuries-old cypress and oak trees, picnic areas and the Mandarin Museum.

NOTE: Dogs are allowed in all parks if they are on a leash.


Pickleball

Courts are first come, first served basis with the exception of the tennis complexes.

For play at non-tennis complex courts you are asked to limit to 1 hour of play when others are waiting.

If making reservations to use one of the tennis complex locations, reservatons can be made for one court up to 48 hours in advance by contacting the desired facility. Reservations guarantee you a court and 1.5 hours of play. Reservations are not guaranteed by leaving a voicemail; you must receive a callback or speak to someone to confirm your reservation.
