About Kings Road Historic Park - Thomas Creek Wildlife Properties

Kings Road Historical Park consists of 2,518 acres (Logan Tract), purchased on December 16, 2002 by the City of Jacksonville. On May 8, 2006, the SJRWMD purchased 50% title of the Logan Tract from the City. Kings Road Historical Park also consists of 658 acres (Red Shirt Farms), purchased on September 1, 2002 by SJRWMD. The SJRWMD later bought an additional 1,095 acres to add to the Red Shirt Farms Parcel that included acreage in Nassau County. The SJRWMD owns 100 percent title of the property on Nassau County. On June 5, 2006, the City acquired the Duval County portion of Red Shirt Farms (586 acres). The City owns 100 percent title of the Duval County portion of the Red Shirt Farms property. The SJRWMD owns 50 percent title to Logan Tract and Duval County portion of Red Shirt Farms. Additional features:
