The next Veterans Council of Duval County meeting will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. The meeting will be held at American Legion Post 137 at 7:00 P.M.

If you're stuck or a little off course when it comes to achieving your goals, this interactive workshop is for you.

Veterans and their family members can meet with one of our Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Regional Library on the second Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Walk-ins welcomed!

HBI, a national leader for career training in the building industry, is providing SkillBridge-approved training, certification and placement in the construction industry. Take advantage of a 12-week, no-cost construction industry training, certification and job placement through a new program in the Jacksonville, FL area. This program is open to active duty military (within 180 days of separation). Spouses and local veterans are also eligible. 

Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) provides transitioning service members and veterans with critical career skills required for today’s growing technology industry. MSSA-Jacksonville provides an 18-week (or two 9-week terms) training for high-demand careers in Cloud Application Development. Program graduates gain an interview for a full-time job at Microsoft or one of their hiring partners.

The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department in partnership with the Jacksonville Public Library will be at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Library on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Veterans can come speak with a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) at this local library with no appointment necessary!
