Leaders in the pediatric/adolescent mental health and youth services fields will host a news conference to announce the community’s receipt of a $9 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The funds will be utilized to establish a system of mental health care for all children in Duval County, focused initially on children in foster care and the juvenile justice system, homeless children, as well as young, high-risk children in challenged neighborhoods.
