It now appears that the July 2nd meeting will not have a quorum. The Council and the public are therefore put on notice that the July 2nd meeting will be opened by the Council President with staff, and the Council President, in accordance with the Council Rules and Roberts Rules of Order, will take only such action as is necessary to continue the public hearings and the legislation on the Agenda to July 24, 2012, the Council’s next regularly scheduled meeting.
On June 26, 2012, Council President Stephen Joost continued the June 26, 2012 Council Meeting to Monday, July 2, 2012 due to severe weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Debby.
The continued meeting was scheduled be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 117 W. Duval St., St. James Bldg., City Hall.
The Agenda was to include only those matters that were scheduled to be heard on June 26, 2012 that were postponed to July 2, 2012.
