While Washington remains deadlocked, federal employees, retirees and their families are caught in the middle. The Mayor’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council (VAAC) invites local students to apply for the Survivor Scholarship, a program created to assist Jacksonville residents who have been impacted by violent crime, either as a primary or secondary survivor.
