Terrence L. Harvey joined the Office of General Counsel in February 2024. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, he was in private practice where he specialized in the areas of real estate transactions, civil litigation and bankruptcy.
Mr. Harvey completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was a Dr. Ronald E. McNair Scholar and a University of Florida Presidential Scholarship recipient. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Law, where he served as the Publications Editor of The Tennessee Law Review and Managing Editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law.
Mr. Harvey is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association, American Bar Association, Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association, Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association and a past associate of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.
Mr. Harvey is a current Academy Fellow of The Florida Bar’s Wm. Reese Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy (Class XI) and past Fellow of the Real Property Probate Trust Law Section. He is also a member of the Executive Council for the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section.
