LASALLE STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The City of Jacksonville’s LaSalle Street Drainage Project will mitigate flooding on LaSalle Street and surrounding neighborhoods by upgrading the stormwater collection system.
PROJECT BENEFITS
Alleviate flooding on LaSalle Street and in the neighborhood.
Alleviate flooding at the intersection of LaSalle Street & San Marco Boulevard.
Improve the overall capability of the stormwater system in San Marco.
PHASE I: LASALLE STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Under construction:
Installation of a new pump station
Construction of a new outfall
Construction of new pipes and inlets
Projected Timeline: Completed Q1 – 2025.
PHASE II: DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS LASALLE STORMWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM
Construction pending:
Construction of new pipes and inlets
Projected Timeline: 2024 – 2026.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION
All work will occur within the City’s right-of-way.
Phased construction is scheduled street-by-street and will minimize impacts on the neighborhood
Roadways and sidewalks will be temporarily removed. Trees directed impacted by construction may be removed.
Driveways may be temporarily unavailable for parking. Access to properties will be maintained.
Roads under construction will be closed to traffic other than residents.
