The City of Jacksonville will be hosting Memorial Day Observance on May 30^th.  Pre-ceremony music by the Navy Band SE will begin at 0800 and the ceremony will commence at 0830. The Observance should conclude by 1000. 

Join the City of Jacksonville , The US Naval Academy Alumni Association - Jacksonville Chapter, and West Point Socity of North Florida in celebrating one of the oldest rivalries in college football as a part of the Celebration of Valor Observance. 

The Celebration of Valor is an annual series of events honoring the service and sacrifice of Jacksonville’s proud military community. This annual tradition brings together the City of Jacksonville and the military communities in the local area to recognize those who serve and who have served. The 2021 Celebration of Valor includes a wide variety of educational, patriotic, community and civic activities, all focused on demonstrating Jacksonville’s deep appreciation and respect for service men and women in the United States Armed Forces.

This 6-week program, which started in 2017, designed to empower women veterans on their path to self-sufficiency by addressing their holistic needs. The program focuses on three primary domains of wellness: Body, Mind, and Economic Empowerment.

FOAR From Home is rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Florida invites you to meet the team that is rowing the 2021 Talisker Whisky Challenge to raise donations for and awareness of veteran suicide and PTSD. This event is free and open to the public.

The City of Jacksonville is hosting a virtual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 31, to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to our country. The digital observance will be posted to the City of Jacksonville YouTube Channel and social media platforms on Memorial Day, May 31 at 8 a.m.

The video will contain remarks from Mayor Lenny Curry, local officials and military leadership, musical selections from the Jacksonville Voices, Jacksonville Pipes & Drums and Navy Band Southeast, a wreath laying ceremony and more.
