As a new employee with the City of Jacksonville or a part-time employee changing to full-time, we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best choices for your benefit needs. Please continue to review the Benefits website by clicking on each benefit listed.

The City of Jacksonville's Benefit Package offers a wide range of benefits options including:

Vision Insurance
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Term Life Insurance
Dependent Life Insurance

Please make sure to enroll online before the last day of the month since your benefits will become effective on the first day of the month following your hire date or employment status change date. If you do not enroll online your benefits will be defaulted into UF Health plan, employee only and Basic Life Insruance. Both plans are FREE (no cost) to you.
