NOTICE
In accordance with: Council Rule 1.102 President - Designate and
Vice President - Designate:
(a) Election: Limitations. To provide for the orderly transition of the business of the Council, the Council shall elect a President-Designate and then a Vice President-Designate at the second regular meeting of the Council in May of each year, except the year....(2005 Rules of the Council - Published 11/05 - Reflecting Changes)
Therefore, the Jacksonville City Council will vote on the two stated leadership positions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. The Special Meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, 1st Floor City Hall - St. James Building, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida. (Individuals who are eligible to vote on this issue are Council Members - Elect who will take office on July 1, 2007.)
