The Avengers are returning to Jacksonville’s parks! A free screening of “Avengers: Infinity War” (Rated PG-13) will be hosted at two locations:

If you’ve got the time, we’ve got the movie…and the popcorn. Residents are invited to a free presentation of Avengers: Infinity War (Rated PG-13) at 4 locations over the next two weekends: 

• July 12, 2019 - Emmett Reed Park, 1093 W 6th Street, 32209
• July 13, 2019 - Clanzel T Brown, 4575 Moncrief Rd, 32209 
• July 19, 2019 - Mary Lena Gibbs, 6974 Wilson Blvd, 32210
• July 20. 2019 - Cuba Hunter, 3620 Bedford Rd, 32208

As part of the City’s Adaptive Recreation Program, the Disabled Services Division and Brooks Rehabilitation have partnered to provide residents with disabilities an opportunity to enjoy Jacksonville’s waterways.

Friends of Hemming Park is proud to host the following programs and events in Hemming Park, located at 135 W. Monroe Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. All activities listed below are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Furthering the City’s commitment to public safety, Mayor Curry will join City Council members and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department leaders for the grand opening of Fire Station 73, located at Cecil Airport/Commerce Center (5845 Aviation Ave. – 32221), at 9 a.m.

The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful are partnering with the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol for the annual July 5^th Beaches Cleanup following the Independence Day holiday.
