Displaced employees of simulated gambling establishments will have an opportunity to participate in a job fair on Thursday, October 24, 2019 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at Emmett Reed Community Center located at 1093 West 6^th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
 
CareerSource Northeast Florida will have staff on-site at the job fair to assist attendees in connecting with local employers with seasonal and other employment opportunities. Attendees are asked to bring multiple copies of their resume. 
 
Goodwill Temps, a program of Goodwill Industries of North Florida, will be present and can hire immediately for both internal and external Goodwill positions. All applicants should bring two valid forms of ID (driver’s license, birth certificate, passport, Social Security card). Goodwill Temp staff will assist applicants in creating resumes if applicants do not have one. Some jobs will require on-site drug screening.
 
Positions include warehouse, laundry, retail, e-commerce, janitorial, call center, security, hospitality, manufacturing, and more. All attendees should dress for success.

My purpose in co-hosting this job fair is to assist in connecting the employees with employment opportunities and options.”
