From 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., kids can stop by City Hall – St. James (117 W. Duval St. – 32202) to grab candy and safety reflectors for their costumes and bicycles.
The City of Jacksonville Office of Sports and Entertainment joined by representatives from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, JTA, and ASM Global will host a news conference to provide information regarding all aspects of the 2019 Florida-Georgia football game at TIAA Bank Field. Topics will include traffic patterns, road closures, public safety tips, transportation offerings, stadium operations, and weekend activities. The game is Saturday, Nov. 2. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Mayor Lenny Curry will join leaders from the Jacksonville Jaguars, VA Outpatient Clinic Jacksonville, CSX, and the City’s Military Affairs & Veterans Department to highlight upcoming events for the 2019 Celebration of Valor and announce this year’s recipients of the Jaguars’ 2019 Community Grants for military- and veteran-serving organizations.
