The Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW) will host its first Women Up! networking forum at City Hall on Thursday, Oct. 10. Local women’s organizations and members of the community are invited and encouraged to participate.
The free Women Up! forum will focus on issues of importance to local women. The goals are to connect women’s groups within the community, find out what is important to women’s organizations and determine how the MCSW can continue to educate and advocate for issues important to women on the First Coast.

For further information or to RSVP please call 630-1618 or visit Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women.

The Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women was established as an advisory commission by Mayor Hans G. Tanzler in 1972 and was upgraded to full commission status by Mayor Jake Godbold in 1982. MSCW is currently comprised of 14 members appointed by the mayor to two 3-year terms. Its goals include educating the public on women’s issues, advocating on behalf of women, celebrating women and their accomplishments and advising the administration.
