The Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) Advisory Committee, also known as Duval Prepares, will convene on January 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the availability of the Hazard Mitigation Grant funds related to Hurricane Irma (DR4337) and to
review existing projects within the Local Mitigation Strategy. Any outdated projects should be revised or deleted from the plan.
The below LMS Project Submission form is required to be completed for any proposed mitigation projects. Approval by vote of the Security and Emergency Preparedness Planning Council is also required for each project to be adopted into the Local Mitigation Strategy.
