Mayor Alvin Brown will join Mike Fleming, Chairman, Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition, and community business leaders to announce a milestone achievement for the Jobs For Vets program.
The City of Jacksonville, Department of Military Affairs, Veterans & Disabled Services, in close partnership with the Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition (JMVC) launched the Jobs for Vets website in April. The website is designed to facilitate the connection between local employers interested in hiring military veterans, including members of our National Guard and Reserve Units throughout Northeast Florida.
