The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association will present its annual Peace Concert commemorating September 11. The concert coincides with worldwide musical concerts held each year on September 11 to advance a more peaceful and harmonious Earth.
This free musical event will feature children and adult choirs from throughout the city, including the UNF Chamber Singers, Atlantic Coast High School Choir and the Jacksonville Children's Chorus. The concerts, supported globally by Sister Cities International and the September Concert Foundation, are a way for cities to commemorate this solemn date and focus on bringing all communities together, reaffirming hope for world peace and celebrating life and universal humanity.
