The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association will present its annual Peace Concert commemorating September 11. The peace-building event, supported globally by Sister Cities International and the September Concert Foundation, coincides with worldwide musical concerts held each year on September 11. The free musical event will feature choirs from the UNF Chamber Singers, the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Women’s Chorale and the Atlantic Coast High School Honor Chorus.

The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association (JSCA) is the local chapter of Sister Cities International, and has been actively promoting global diplomacy since 1967. The JSCA is currently twinned with eight Sister Cities: Bahia Blanca, Argentina; Curitiba, Brazil; Nantes, France; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Murmansk, Russia; Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, South Africa; Changwon City, South Korea and Yingkou, China.
