–The third annual Hispanic Expo will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, as part of “Es Mi Vida” (It’s My Life) Hispanic Heritage Month. Mayor Alvin Brown will welcome participants and exhibitors during the opening ceremony of the Expo, which will feature a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services-sponsored Naturalization Ceremony.
Vendors providing community services and business opportunities will be on site, and a special guest appearance and autograph signing by Carlos y Alejandra will take place during the Expo. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Blue Pacific Grill and Taco Bar Food Truck.

The third annual Hispanic Expo aims to connect the Hispanic community with the services and resources available to provide personal and professional growth. The Expo is one of several city-sponsored events highlighting the theme of “Es Mi Vida, Es Mi Ciudad” (It’s My Life, It’s My City) in Jacksonville during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated across the United States annually from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The goal is to highlight the significant impact Hispanics have on the country’s cultural vibrancy and economic future.
