The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS), the City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care & Protective Services (ACPS) and First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) are offering a sneak peek at the Shelter Stars available for adoption during the ASPCA Rachel Ray $100K Challenge, a nationwide competition between shelters, in which JHS is a contender. Doggie Ambassadors will meet their adoring fans and will walk the red carpet in this special showcase.
JHS will be participating in the ASPCA Rachel Ray $100K Challenge, a nationwide competition challenging shelters to beat their own summer adoption records and increase adoptions. The shelter that increases adoptions the most will win $100K from the ASPCA. JHS hopes to find homes for 2,013 animals during the months of June, July and August. The event highlights some of Jacksonville’s most adoptable pets and the shared commitment of JHS, ACPS and FCNMHP to saving lives.
